Reflection on Action Research

  • Write a description of what you have learned about action research and how you might use it.
    • Action research is a innovative way of performing research. It is geared toward the independent learner. We as educational leaders have to learn to evaluate ourselves and according to those self evaluations, propose a plan for personal growth. With this idea in mind we as leaders have to look and evaluate our campus performance. We look for ways in which to help our campus become leaders and innovators. Given the maximum effort when it comes to educational growth means that our students will benefit from our individual efforts. Action Research requires the ability of independent thinking along with problem solving. This will form an important aspect in my professional life as well as in a personal level. As a SPED teacher trying to find new and innovative ways to help and service my students, I will use these new research techniques to ensure the success of all.

  • Write an analysis of how educational leaders might use blog.
    • Education leaders should be able to use these new research techniques on a variety of ways. They can research new techniques on how to deliver new, interactive lessons that are geared toward a larger variety of learners. They can also use these techniques to allow themselves to be more time efficient.  "Work smarter not harder!"

  1. These three interviews were very impactful to me due to the fact that I have never worked alongside an administrator before and it gave me an idea of what to expect when dealing with action research plans. When I listen to these three scholars, I have a great deal of respect for them for sharing their experiences with students like us so that we have an easier path then what they probably went through. I will do my best to try and use their advise and suggestions to make research plan one that is practical and that benefits my campus at classroom lever as well as administrative level
